Day 1: Cusco-Bambú Lodge.-
On the first day of our adventure in the Manu jungle, we will pick you up from your Hotel between 5:30 to 5:45 am, using the service of our private transport. The first part of our excursion will take us through the majestic Andean mountains, where we take a quick opportunity to visit a very nice lake with the name of Huacarpay, a large Andean lagoon that has a great existence of flora and fauna typical of the Andean Mountains. Later, we will visit the town of Huancarani that contains the funeral towers of Ninamarca, a cemetery of the Pre-Lupaca Inca Culture, which we will briefly visit and then visit the province of Paucartambo, which is known as the folkloric capital of the department of Cusco. This small colonial town has managed to preserve its rich tradition for centuries and centuries. At noon we will arrive at the entrance to the Manu National Park and access to one of the most protected natural areas in South America. We will continue in our private transportation which is laid down a dirt road and through a cloud forest. Finally we reach the most interesting area inhabited by the Cock of the Rock a national bird of Peru, we’ll be observed behavior of each bird and hacie NDO social gathering that seems reminiscent of a large courtship. You will observe that this is quite an astonishing spectacle complete with an impressive variety of sounds and colors that can only be found in the jungle. For our first night, we will stay at the beautiful BAMBU Lodge, where we will arrive at approx. 17:00 Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Bambú Lodge – Golden Vine Lodge.-
In the morning, we will board our transport for a time of 30 minutes (approximately) to the port of Atala , on the way we will have the opportunity to see the coca plantation and the orchid garden . When we arrive at the port of Atalaya, we will take a motorboat for about 20 minutes downstream (Alto Río Madre de Dios) and finally we will arrive at our lodge, where we will have lunch. In the afternoon, we will visit Lake Machuwasy, where we will explore the lake in a traditional wooden boat, in this place we can see more colorful birds, and sometimes it is possible to see capybaras and monkeys. Optional night walks . Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included.
Day 3: Golden Vine Lodge – Bambu Lodge.-
This day we will wake up very early in the morning to board our motor boat for approximately 20 minutes, then we will visit the parrot clay lick , where we will see a more spectacular diversity of birds, plants and the animals that all live in deep harmony within the confines of the jungle. We hope to have a chance to see some more monkeys. After the activity of the l oros. We will return to the lodge for breakfast. Then we go to explore the primary forest. In the afternoon we will have a walk in the middle of the jungle and finally return to our lodge. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner Included.
Day 4: Bambo Lodge – Cusco.-
This after our delicious breakfast, we will leave the lodge very early in the direction of the city of Cusco. We will pass through the beautiful Sacred Valley of the Incas, arriving in Cusco around 6:00 pm (Approximately) Breakfast and Lunch.
